School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana organized the 2020 Annual Conference of the Emerging Markets Conference Board on June 2-3, 2020. The annual EMCB conferences aim to gather marketing scholars and practitioners interested in issues and challenges of marketing and related management issues in emerging markets. This was the first time for the Emerging Markets Conference Board (EMCB) conference to take place in Europe and this offered opportunity to shed more light also to emerging markets within the European context.

The theme of the conference was “Growing business in emerging markets: Challenges and drivers for success. We have prepared thirteen tracks covering different areas of marketing. The conference format provided room for discussion, networking and co-operation building among attendees from developed and developing countries.
