Conference theme:
“Marketing in Emerging Markets in the New Normal”
We are pleased to invite you to the eleventh EMCB (Emerging Markets Conference Board) conference that is co-sponsored by EMAC and other leading associations (ACR; AMA; AMS; AIB; EMAC; Sheth Foundation, etc.). The conference will take place on 30-31 May 2022 at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Attendance can be in-person or remotely via Zoom; the conference will have a dual format.
The conference format will provide room for discussions, networking and building collaborations between participants from developed and developing countries.Interesting plenary sessions with renowned scholars (e.g. prof. Naresh Malhotra who is a Marketing Legend and a part of the published list of the World’s Top 2% Most-cited Researchers across all disciplines) and three panel sessions (AMA, EMAC and AAA/EAA) will also provide stimulating insights into issues and challenges of marketing and related management topics in emerging markets facing the new normal.
The academics, researchers, students and practitioners are encouraged to submit extended abstracts or full papers in different areas of marketing, covered by 12 tracks:
• Business-to-business marketing and sales management
• Consumer behavior and culture
• Context-specific issues in marketing
• Green/sustainable/socially responsible marketing and ethics
• Innovation management and new product development
• International marketing
• Marketing communication in digitalized era
• Marketing in SMEs
• Marketing strategy
• Product and brand management
• Services marketing and retailing
• Special track: Early stage researchers
Accepted works will be published in Conference Proceedings (with ISBN); authors will have the option of publishing either the full paper or the extended abstract in the proceedings. Additionally, selected papers will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in EMCB 2022 supporting journals.
Extended Submission Deadline: 1 March 2022
Extended abstracts deadline: 10 May 2022
Decision and Selection Announcement: The decisions about submissions to EMCB 2022 conference will be sent out by 15 May 2022.
