The Emerging Markets Conference Board was formed in 2012 with Dr. Naresh K. Malhotra as the Chair. It includes several world class faculty members on the Board. The first EMCB conference was organized in 2012 in New Delhi, with subsequent conferences being organized annually in Asia and Africa.
These conferences are co-sponsored by top marketing organizations in USA, Europe and elsewhere including the Academy of International Business (AIB), American Marketing Association (AMA), Association for Consumer Research (ACR), Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), European Marketing Academy (EMAC), and several other top organizations.
This year the conference takes place in Europe, which offers opportunity to also discuss specifics of emerging markets within the European context, focusing on the new normal. The theme of the conference is “Marketing in Emerging Markets in the New Normal“.
